Advocate & Solicitor

David joined Gateway Law Corporation in 2009, after graduating from the University of Manchester. He was recently called to the Singapore Bar.

During his time with Gateway Law Corporation, David's experience to-date includes:

  • Representing the world's largest fast-food franchise, SUBWAY, in both a trade mark infringement action and a trade mark opposition action.
  • Conducting various interlocutory applications for the firm's litigation cases.
  • Drafting and reviewing various documents including shareholder agreements, leases, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Rendering legal opinions on various issues, including intellectual property rights and the interpretation of statutes.
  • Assisting in the registration of trade marks and patents.
  • Assisting in the incorporation of companies.

As an old boy of Hwa Chong Junior College and the Chinese High School, David is proud to be effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin.
